Overview

One of our proudest developments, this site of 50 houses and nursing home was completed using our standard timber frame option. The contractor decided to use timber frame due to the speed and accuracy of off-site timber frame construction. The tight six month build programme involved 4 units being delivered per week and the nursing home in two phases. This development was designed by one of most experienced designers Mairéad and the overall management of the production and erection schedules by Director Ed.

Houses

The 50 houses were all of the same style with similar layouts, allowing the design stage of the timber frame to be efficient allowing the architect to be focused on the aesthetics of the development and it really showed in the finished images. The flexibility of timber frame really shown through with the external finishes varying throughout the site with stone cladding, timber cladding and render.

Nursing home

The 60 bed nursing home echoed the design of the houses. The external finishes, roof design and site layout all contributed to the appeal of the village with the nursing home sitting slightly higher on the site. The 30,000sqft building was part of the overall six month build programme for the timber frame package which was delivered on time and on budget.
